Honest Riches Book Review
Holly Mann has a great e-book called, “Honest Riches.” I bought and found an easy to read internet marketing book. Holly’s book is great for the beginning internet marketer.
If you have been doing this awhile or feel you know a lot, I would skip Holly’s Honest Riches book and go straight for Ryan Orrell’s Internet Millions e-book. Ryan Orrell’s Internet Millions is more suited for the intermediate to advanced internet marketer. Having said that, I still think there is value and much to learn for the beginning internet marketer in Holly’s well written book.

Like many affiliate marketing newbie, I bought into these claims because like some of the old snake oil salesmen, they promised instant rewards without putting much effort into the mix. So, I would try one product and I would find out it didn’t work. I found that some of the products I would try had information that was too old. The problem was that the seller decided not to update the product or stop selling it to unsuspecting newbie’s.
I have listened too many of the internet “guru’s”. And, I found a number of them did not know what they were talking about and some just wanted to sell a product at all costs. I was becoming very frustrated and very disillusioned, because I was trying very hard and making very little. This is the main reason I started reviewing some of the e-books recommended by friends. I wanted to be able to let marketers know what they were really getting before spending their hard earned money on another useless piece of information.

Basically, you need to learn a few simple things. Learning to find a niche is very important. Otherwise, you are wasting a lot of time. You need to know how to do keyword research. The right keywords will make or break a website. You need content to put on the website. A lot of content is freely available around the internet. But, even though you don’t need to, it is really best to write your own content. Learn a little SEO so you can optimize the content for the free search engines.
It is also very important to have a linking strategy. The more links you have the better will be the ranking of your website. This is especially true in Google. You must learn to get reciprocal links and one way links. Holly Mann discusses this very well.
You need to design a pleasing well thought out and website that can be navigated easily. This is where you will add your money making affiliate links to your content. Again, Holly Mann discusses this thoroughly. Really, Holly’s book is all the information you need to start to become successful on the internet.
